After connecting the external battery cabinet, use the user interface to determine the number of

external battery cabinets, as shown in Figure 44.

If the number displayed is not consistent with the actual installation number of external battery

cabinets:

• Ensure each external battery cabinet contains two battery modules installed on the same row and

both have the locking levers in the locked position.

• Ensure the Liebert IntelliSlot EBC card is installed properly and the communication cables are

fully inserted in the connectors.

• Determine that the DIP switch setting of each battery cabinet is correct using the following table
